Haha I know. I've got an unlocked S9+ ordered which is supposed to be here by 3/14. I'm wondering though if hpue will only be available on the variant from AT&T? Not sure if that would be considered a premium feature like VoLTE and WiFi calling and the SIM will prevent that feature from working.

My SIM card is about 5 years old. Do I need a new SIM card and/or different APN settings to allow for LTE+ on my Galaxy S9 (which I assume is LTE Advanced (channel bonding))?

Now I know that some things such as WiFi calling and VoLTE won't work on my unlocked version though hopefully it supports all the bands that AT&T uses.

Thanks everyone.

You shouldn't need a new SIM card for the phone to take advantage. The LTE+ indicator is the phones way of showing that carrier aggregation is happening. I'm not sure why Samsung only shows this on the unlocked models, the AT&T sold models are capable of all the same technologies but the indicator is an AT&T graphic instead.

I posted on the forums A s9/s9+ post on specs and AT&T's website does list Band 14. If it is AT&T Branded an AT&T sim is included already but if it is the Unlocked one then you can buy a Prepaid sim at like Best buy or Target and activate it on Postpaid.
