Was not aware of the class action. Why even bring it up then?

First I've ever heard of a gag order for this type of Class Action or maybe any Class Action?

That's an illogical statement. Of course you can compare the 2 devices. They both are targeting the same customer. As far as different size classes in phones, again this is something nobody ever debated, but name a oem who's 2 size classes are 5.5 inch for a small screen and 6 was the large screen. 5.5 inch devices were considered large screen devices.

You keep using words like nonsensical and illogical to describe other peoples perspective. I'm afraid you're the one who's behaving in an illogical and nonsensical way. As many others in many other responses have already pointed out to you... people usually buy phones with large screens BECAUSE they like large screens. Umm, that's why they make them that way. I appreciate that you like phones that have 5" screens and you obviously feel a need to compare those phones to those like the BLADE/PRO ZMAX. But, most of us who bought our phone because of screen size couldn't care less about phones with better specs in other areas (CPU, camera, etc.) if the screen size doesn't meet our needs.

Is it that difficult for you to understand this? Please stop telling people they're illogical or it's wrong of them because their preferred phone feature is a large screen. Go enjoy your 5" phone and be happy I'm happy for you if you've found ANY phone that meets your needs. Do you know what's nonsensical? That you spun the whole conversation off into topics concerning our perception of screen size in an effort to justify your opinions. Jeez.

You seem like an alright person. This isn't personal I like a 6"+ phone (as do others). I'm not interested in your 5" phones regardless of their features. But, honestly THANK YOU for pointing them out

As far as the thread topic....

I'm hoping ZTE gets back into business. I think they (along with Huawei) offer great low cost options to the consumer. But, hope the security issues are addressed.

Not to sound like a nutty conspiracy person, I'm pretty sure that the US government, Chinese government, and Russian government can hack a lot of phones at any time regardless of whether the manufacturer has hidden a back door. If they can't directly access the internals of a phone they can easily setup Stingray devices, as have often been used by the FBI, etc. I'm not trying to down play the seriousness of the influence of the Chinese government on it's cellphone manufacturers and their policies regarding the privacy of users data. I'm only saying... how safe is our cellphone usage anywhere?

I think perhaps the US government should require devices from China to pass thorough inspections before they enter the US market. I also think Apple and Google should look into improved privacy options at the OS level. Any suggestions on addressing the security concerns targeted at ZTE (and slightly implied about Huawei)?

Many people? 3, yeah that's a ton. Where do you keep getting 5 inch screens from, dude you seriously just made up your own argument, the declared yourself correct. That's hilarious. But whatever, it's the internet, it's what people do. But in the future, if you are going to debate something I say, please at least debate what I actually said, not something you made up to debate. Makes the entire process easier.

Whose paying for those inspections you want done? What does apple have anything to do with this? How is Google suppose to implement these security features on an open sourced o.s. that oems can add whatever they want to.
