I have an Iphone 4 on the Tracfone network. I use very little data and texts and wanted to add minutes only. I added a 240 minute card usually used for flip phones. The Tracfone app now shows my service end date has 90 days added to it. Is this normal?

If this works on all Tracfone smartphones, it would be a great low cost option for smartphone users who use little data and texts.

I love the Iphone and Applemaps works better than most GPS units.

Thanks in advance for any advice :-)

Sounds like you added a 120 minute standard card, which would give 360 on a smartphone if you have TMFL. Would double to 240 on a basic phone. Yes, service time is 90 days either way.

I don't understand why the OP got 240 minutes instead of 360 on an iPhone 4 which is a smartphone. A smartphone (TF-branded or BYOP) should get Triple if it is an old phone/SIM, or Single if it is a new phone/SIM.

They did mention using the cards for a flip phone which would have doubled to 240. Yes, should have been 360 if TFML.

Not likely, but if op used a promo with a 60 minute card he'd get 240....I mean if he knew enough to add a card, he could have known about a promo code , as well.
BTW, does 12745 still work? r is there a current code for 60 minute card?

We don't know exactly what the OP did.
Promo code 12745 seems to be still active.
